Global Alliance for Resilience: A Call to Action for NGOs and the Private Sector
RNIn a global context characterized by the increasing frequency of extreme weather events and social challenges of anthropic origin, the need to coordinate efforts between the private sector and civil society organizations has become imperative. Risk News, within the strategic framework of the City Risk-70 Program and in collaboration with the Forum of the Americas, is launching an open call for companies and NGOs worldwide to share and disseminate their projects. This initiative seeks to bring visibility to concrete actions that promote resilience and community well-being, providing a technical and professional showcase for interventions that are transforming realities across diverse territories.
The core purpose of this proposal is to leverage new collaboration mechanisms that empower NGOs through the support and resources of the private sector. We recognize that strengthening civil society is the cornerstone for improving impacts in the face of critical situations, allowing for a more robust response and a more agile recovery. We invite organizational and corporate leaders to join this network of knowledge and experience exchange, convinced that the dissemination of these best practices not only inspires others but also consolidates a more solid social and environmental protection ecosystem.
